When you walk through the doors of Kiss Kouture, you will be welcomed by the best in the business. Our staff are not sales people, who’s main concern is to sell you a dress, because they are paid on commission.
Kiss Kouture employs Style Developers who have years of experience, passion, techniques and the understanding of creating a style that is empowering, motivating and timeless.
My name is Windy Kiss Harris and in case you are wondering, yes my mom decided to give me the middle name of Kiss, which is why my dress salon is called Kiss Kouture. I am 43 years old, have been the mother of 5 children for 26 years, and have been married for 10 years. I was a medical biller for 10 years, then switched careers to join forces with my husband. I worked at the real estate company for 7 years as the Director of Operations. Throughout my career I have always excelled at my job duties, but something was missing. Over time, my life consisted of my career, being a soccer mom and a wife. This caused to me really look at what I wanted to do with my life. Don’t get me wrong, I loved my children and husband, but I lost Windy somewhere. One day a friend of mine posted on Facebook that she was looking for models to model wedding gowns for a bridal show. Since I was a former model I agreed to help her out. Before, during and after the show, it was as if a light came on inside of me and I rediscovered my true passion. Later that month the same friend asked me if I wanted a part time job working in the bridal salon she managed. That was the start of my journey, and although I was only there for a short time due to the demands of my hectic family life, it was enough to reignite my passion for fashion. I am fashion. I breath, eat and sleep with fashion on my mind, which lead me to sit down with my husband to discuss the birth of Kiss Kouture. I Love encouraging and inspiring women to find that perfect dress, that not only compliments their unique figure but also their personality. I welcome you to join me on my new journey to dress women, but also to fill them with assurance, confidence and the joy of being beautiful on the inside and out.
WELCOME TO KISS KOUTURE
Meet Mia, a single graduate of Oakland University, who is now attending law school full time. In her spare time, Mia also volunteers at her community food pantries and shelters. Mia fell in love with fashion and couture at an early age and has evolved since then. She has developed her style of merging the classic, timeless couture with current trends. Being a full time student, Mia has also learned how to style on a budget. She knows how to wear the clothes, not let them wear you.
As you can see, these ladies offer many different styles and techniques to pass on to our customers at Kiss Kouture. Our Style Developers share the same vision, that having a style involves more than just clothes. It requires embracing the style, owning the style and making the style last. We look forward to seeing you walking on the streets, at events or on even the job in your own timeless style.
